Blues Acquire Dakota Joshua from Maple Leafs
New Center Signed for Two Years
Trade Includes Future Considerations
St. Louis Blues general manager Doug Armstrong announced today that the team has acquired center Dakota Joshua from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for future considerations.
Joshua, 25, has played in 37 NHL games with the Maple Leafs over the past three seasons. He recorded two goals and four assists for six points in 27 games last season. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound forward signed a two-year contract with an average annual value of $800,000.
Joshua will wear No. 27 for the Blues.
